This half-day course is designed for new entrants to the Construction Industry; Self Employed Persons providing support to the industry; Building and Engineering Students about to train on Construction Sites and Building Maintenance Personnel. The course can also be used as a preparation training for the SSSTS (ConstructionSkills).
The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, states that suitable training must be provided to ensure that employees are aware of hazards and are competent to undertake their job safely.
This training course is designed to raise general health and safety awareness of the typical health and safety issues presented by the workplace, being suitable for experienced employees, but also ideal for new starters.
