DESIGNED FOR Safety Professionals and all levels of Management with responsibility for safety, health and welfare, including pre-contract planning and estimating staff.
Course Objectives At the end of the course, delegates will understand the requirements for risk assessments contained in the various codes of regulations and will have a working knowledge of the procedures necessary for the practical application of these assessments.

Generic Assessments – Pros and Cons Effects of Cumulative Assessments Definitions of Terminology Legal Requirements and Guidance: Practical guidance in the carrying out of risk assessments, particularly as required by: ‘The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999’ ‘The Construction Design and Management Regulations 2207’ ‘ACoP’s for the Regulations above Anatomy of a Risk Assessment: Hazards, Risks, Local Conditions, Countermeasures Residual Risks Statutory Risks Approval, briefing, execution of work Monitoring for effectiveness.
