DESIGNED FOR
Site Managers, Agents, Foremen, Supervisors, Safety Officers and any person who is required to inspect scaffolding to ensure safety.
Course Objectives
At the end of the course students will have a working knowledge of the legal requirements and will be able to competently inspect those types of scaffold listed below, so as to ensure the safety and stability of the structure.
Course Content
Provisions of: Applicable Regulations BS EN Standards applicable to Scaffolding Planning and inspection techniques in respect of: Putlog and independent tied scaffolds Mobile and static towers Hoist towers Temporary roofs Hazards relating to use of birdcage scaffolds Reading scaffold drawings
Practical Inspection of Training Scaffold
N.B. A certificate of training is issued after the successful completion of an evaluation paper.
