CHSG Course Information
The John Ryder Training Centre
All standard courses are held at the John Ryder Training Centre, St Ann’s Road in Chertsey, Surrey. The starting and closing times are from 8am – 5pm, unless otherwise stated in the joining instructions.
If you are travelling by road, Chertsey is served by both the M3 and M25. No parking is available at the Centre, but there is sufficient free parking in and around Chertsey within walking distance.
Chertsey is served by a good train service from Waterloo changing at Staines, Weybridge or Virginia Water for the Chertsey line. The station is approximately a ten minute walk from the Centre.
If you are attending a two-day course and require overnight accommodation, a local hotel list is available upon request.

All of our training rooms and facilities have disabled access.
CHSG is a fully inclusive training provider. If you have any concerns about attending one of our courses, please get in contact with us as we would love to help.
Refreshments are included on all courses, however lunch is included on full-day courses only.

Course Fees and Payment
Course fees quoted on this website are correct at the time of publication, but CHSG reserves the right to amend fees.
All CHSG course fees are exempt from Value Added Tax.
Payment for training courses can now be collected upon checkout.
N.B All CHSG non-member’s must pay prior to course attendance.

On-Site Company Training and Special Courses
In addition to the standard range of courses offered at the Training Centre at Chertsey, CHSG regularly prepares tailor-made courses for individual organisations with particular needs.
These can be presented at Chertsey or at a venue identified by the client.

CITB SSP Courses - Mandatory Requirement
For all CITB courses you will be required to bring some form of photographic identification with you on the day of the course. Where identification is not provided, you will be refused entry onto the course.
Anyone attending a CITB course must have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
