
This one-day course is intended for those who are operating at supervisor level, or about to acquire supervisory responsibilities. The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects that affect the environment in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It will provide supervisors with a broad understanding of the environment and the issues construction sites’ face.
The SEATS course is designed to meet the basic environmental knowledge that the sub-contractor chain are required to prove to major contractors. It also covers the environmental aspects of the HSE touch screen test.
The course content will cover the importance of environmental management systems (EMS) which incorporates waste management, pollution control, “good neighbour initiatives” and the impact that archaeology and heritage can have on a site.
