Membership Overview
Since its formation in 1952, CHSG has expanded its membership to include; the larger construction companies, a wide range of small and medium size companies and many associated companies to the construction industry. Currently we have around 200+ members and this number is continuing to grow.
Benefits of Membership
As a member of CHSG you will be a part of an established and recognised training provider and receive an invitation to attend the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) annual update.
Upon joining you will receive a certificate of membership, which you can include in any bids. You will have the use of the CHSG logo for publicity purposes.
You will be given access to monthly meeting recordings and presentations that can be shared with your teams.
Members of CHSG are given opportunities to develop professionally through discounted seats at seminars on specific industry issues, and our friendly and knowledgeable staff and lecturers.
You will also receive preferential rates on training courses and room hire.
All members will automatically receive a login to our website where they will be able to view and access a wide range of resources, such as presentations, podcasts, webinars and meeting minutes, to name a few.
CHSG celebrates the innovative and hard work of members and non-members in Construction and associated Industries through the Annual Awards.
Members are also part of the charitable work that CHSG undertakes, due to their continued support.
Membership Details
CHSG Membership runs from 1st June to 31st May every year. The membership fee, currently £300 plus VAT, is payable each year to maintain your membership benefits.
You will be sent a renewal reminder nearer the end of March to renew your membership. Failure to do so will result in your account being frozen until your membership is renewed or cancelled. Please read our terms and conditions for full details.
You can access the Members Area to manage your account and access the resources made available to you.
Access and Certification
Upon purchasing CHSG membership, you will gain access to the course discounts by logging into the Members Area on this website. This benefit is available to all members immediately after payment. You will receive an email where you will be able to click on the members link to set up your account with us. After this brief setup, you will have access to our members area.
However, your membership will only become official once the Board of Directors has approved your membership request. This means that until your membership has been officially approved you will not have access to any Membership benefits apart from course discounts.
You will receive your Certificate once your application has been approved by the Board.
