Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regs 2002 (DSEAR) – Is Your Construction Site Compliant?

From designing site setup and throughout the construction stages, are you aware of your responsibilities with respect to the storage of:

  • Flammable and highly flammable gases
  • Fuel storage
  • Paints
  • Adhesives
  • Coatings

These items can all add up on a site, but did you know that you should have undertaken a DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regs 2002) risk assessment, and secondly how do you mitigate these risks as and where possible?

Our Monthly Meeting speaker Tom Cawston, Technical Director from Q-Tex, is a highly respected specialist engineer who has considerable experience in compliance and safety within explosive atmospheres and in particular in the construction sector.

Tom will be joining us to answer these and many more questions as part of his presentation.
