The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) have issued additional secondary legislation and guidance for the Building Safety Act 2022 to come into effect on 1st October for those who:
• Plan to build a new higher-risk building (HRB);
• Create one through change of use or alteration / extension; or
• Plan to undertake building work to an existing HRB, you will need to follow the new building control regime”
