HSE Campaign Aims to Prevent Moving and Handling Ill Health
From 4th September 2023 HSE Inspectors will be travelling to sites to assess ill-health around moving and handling of materials around site.
Under their “Work Right Construction. Your Health. Your Future” campaign the HSE aim to raise awareness of the risks associated with moving and handling materials on site, providing free resources for employers and workers.
Working in construction is a physically demanding job and many construction workers’ health is suffering due to pain in muscles, bones, joints and nerves that affect every aspect of their lives and in many cases their ability to work and earn a living.
