May is a big month, not just for King and Country but for the delegates undertaking our courses, as the Diploma in Construction Fire Safety & Fire Risk Management course begins, and we are running a CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher.
We’ve also put extra dates in for the scaffold delegates this month with FOUR dedicated courses.
CHSG Scaffold Inspection One Day

This one-day course teaches delegates a basic understanding of scaffold inspection. Upon successful completion of the course and evaluation, delegates will receive a certificate of training.
CISRS Basic Scaffolding Inspection
5+ Spaces available
24th - 26th May
5+ Spaces available
This three-day course offers delegates a better understanding of scaffolding, upon passing delegates will receive a 5-year valid qualification.
The Best of the Rest
4th and 5th May sees the CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher held at our Chertsey centre – a course aiming to bring health and safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving an overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the workplace. The course will build on the content covered in the previous five-day course programme and delegates will need to send us a copy of their current certificate prior to the course.
The first CITB Temporary Works Co-ordinator Refresher (TWCTC-R) was held in April, so if you missed out we’ve added another date in May, on the 25th. Aimed at those who’s current Temporary Works Co-ordinator (TWC) certificate needs to be updated in the near future, but is still in date. This course will refresh the knowledge and expertise up to current standards and ensure that the delegates are aware of any changes to the standard BS5975:2019. This one-day refresher course saves delegates having to retake the TWC two-day course.
